Morrison’s commitment along with that of its clients could impact 41 million patients served annually and 403 million guest meals sold in cafes, vending areas and kiosks annually.

Those typical hospital foods that have been ridiculed for years are being replaced by more nutritious fare, such as flatbread pizzas, turkey meatloaf, heart-shaped frozen yogurt desserts, baked chicken and baked french fries.

Compass's Morrison Takes Healthcare Wellness Platform Nationwide

ATLANTA — Morrison claims to be the first healthcare foodservice provider to commit to implementing its comprehensive wellness platform across all of the institutions it serves. A unit of Charlotte, NC-based Compass Group, Morrison serves about 550 hospitals and integrated healthcare facilities across the country. Officials said the initiative will impact up to 300 million hospital meals annually.
